The job requires the individual to indentify queries that can be optimizes, merged, and otherwise streamlined to take advantage of the MDX query language and the data structures of the existing cubes.
Required Skills
This position requires practical experience with creating and running MDX queries, preferably against Microsoft Analysis Services cubes. MDX querying skills must be solid. [Cube building skills are not required.]
Of slightly lower priority is the ability for working independently, and to be able to identify ways to automate the running of these queries in an optimum manner. As such, some knowledge of Microsoft's Information Services and/or basic C# programming skills are desired, but are not essential.
